This April VMPlus as had the pleasure of providing two very special ANZAC day displays to commemorate the ANZAC centenary year.
Brisbane Queen Street Mall Display//
The Brisbane city ANZAC display was to be a subtle and tasteful display to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers while still acknowledging the centenary year. VMPlus created a sea of over 3000 poppies, each individually attached by one of our stylists. The large “100” was suspended high up in the central precinct of the Queen Street mall. The end result is a striking display that can be seen from all angles, allowing shoppers to stop and reflect on ANZAC day and the 100th year celebration.
Central Plaza Display//
Central Plaza opted for a more classic display with a simple poppy wreath and frame elevated on a black stage. The ANZAC poster includes letters home from soldiers in Gallipoli along with the Brisbane city ANZAC day service times. The gold frame and ANZAC poster add a commemorative addition to the display reminding all who read of the sacrifice of those who fought for our country.
