Congrats to our new VM+ graduate

Well she has done it…. Wendy has just enjoyed an extraordinary 3 day intensive with Mark (trainer extraordinaire) in the art of visual merchandising at VM+. Her grasp of the art, her attention to detail and gift of placement (as well as being able to make a mean prop) has propelled her to being an outstanding graduate.White tiffany chair visual display by Wendy VM+ trainee July 2012

Her design eye has captured the colour and lines of each item within the display. The pyramid layout has ensured the eye travels from top to bottom seamlessly. The use of strength and softness of colour create a delicious end result… Great work.Hand made lamingtons and string balls, along with pinks and white homewares

But wait, then she and Mark entered the VM+ window on Leopard Street, Woolloongabba to create more VM magic. Boldness of imagery in the use of bar code signage, an Escher style design of muted toned butterflies morphing into the brilliance of our latest fav colour orange… OMG, this girl has talent (not to mention the expertise of her skilled and very divine trainer Mr Reese). Drive by and take a look…. but be careful not to ding the car in front…Release your creativity : window display by VM+ graduate Wendy July 2012

Even one of the locals stopped to take a closer look. Yippee. Gotta love the power of visual merchandising!  XCyclist takes a closer look of Release your Creativity window July VM+
