“Eat less from a box and more from the Earth”
Harris Farm has opened in Brisbane’s busy corner of West End. Located in West Village on Mollison Street, the new grocery store features everything from pour your own honey and nut butter, to a divine selection of organic fruit and vegetables to a whole alley dedicated to 500 different types of cheese. That’s just the start… from a fish monger and butcher, deli meats and a donut bar, Harris Farm has it all.
Working closely beside McCartney Design, we made their designs come to life with the help of sign writer, Indigo Jo. Our endeavour to create a unique Harris Farm flagship store filled with warm and welcoming designs started with a 500mL strand of vine, not just a single stretch of rope, but 2 lengths of thick rope twisted together… that’s over a 1km of rope! Twisted around the central vine was another strand of manila rope to add in as tendrils, exaggerating the organic structure of the vine. This green vine makes its way up and down, in and out of the entire store. West End is an eclectic place with a strong Brisbane narrative of art and fellowship. This vine links each department in Harris Farm, West End and symbolises the connection and unity found within the suburb in which Harris Farm resides.
With such a unique store opening in Brisbane, it was our joy to be involved in the creation of the memorable moments.
Individual harvest scoops, big ,small, rustic, tarnished, and pre-loved were sourced from around Australia, even furthering the link between farmer and table.
VM+ sourced vessels such as baskets, farmyard tables, barrels and baths to create a unique space for all of the organic produce.
An abundance of fresh florals is always on display! Be sure to head in and enjoy the seasonal blooms.
