The International GEO trend is going to be huge for Visual Merchandising in Spring/Summer 2014. Embracing prints and textures from ethnic Latin America and lines and colours from Japan and Africa, this trend is as if the glossy pages of National Geographic stepped into our shops and store fronts and onto the runway.
With colourful patterns and contrasting textures, the International GEO trend will include tribal prints and colours, flowing fabrics combining with natural, earthy tones with influences from African folklore.
At VM+ we took our own take on the International GEO trend and combined it with a “Thrill of the Hunt” display at Westfield Helensvale.
The life-sized owls, driftwood, sand bases and large natural woven structures compliment the bright tribal colours and patterns of the International GEO SS14 trend.
